BioI'm Kim...hummm...I am not sure why I decided to start this journal...honestly I have a complex that no one will care and read what I write, but what the hell...I am doing it any way!
Ok, a bit about me. I love spending time with my daughter (the love of my life). My husband lost that title when Emmie was born. He does however come in a good second and she is not a bad thing to come in second to. I love to read (when she will give the me the chance). I watch way too much tv and I love watching movies. I love doing both. I can watch anything unless children or animals are getting hurt...in that case I have to turn it off. I have my own business which I love. I am passionate about what I repersent with my business and I love it because it gives me the freedom to watch my daughter grow up. I work from home, but before that I was a 7th grade teacher. Somewhere down the line I think I lost what was left of my mind and decided to teach middle school Engilsh in the hood of all places where ebonics was the prefered langauage (that is so politically incorrect)...what was I thinking. Now I spend my time with my baby girl. I do think my brain has gone into playschool over drive and I am searching for a way for my brain to really work again restoring to it's former self...I guess this happens to all moms at one time or another.
I used to be able to spell very well. That was until I became a teacher...sounds strange? I know. Ther problem there is, I was teaching English in a school where Ebonics was the primary language. I kid you not. So my spelling skills went to shit. I appoligise in advance if my spelling is off. After reading some of the things my students turned in, and reading that stuff for years, I started to second guess myself and then it just came to the point where I could not spell as well as I once did...moving on now ;-p
I avoid bullshit like the plague...why spend your life around crap you don't have to deal with. I am a particularly honest person with OCD. If you don't want to hear the truth, don't ask me the question or for my opinion. I will tell you what that shirt really looks like on you if you solicit my opinion. I won't lie to you just so you can hear what you want to hear. I appreciate the same in other people as well. Life is too short to live in a giant lie.
I used to be quirky, now I just find myself to be weird. And I think I am addicted to email....on it all the time. If you send me an email and I am not asleep, you will get one back in an extrememly timely manner!
I am a very devoted friend. I am like a momma bear when it comes to the people I love. I like having really close friends as opposed to a lot of people I hardly know...When we become friends, you can count on me to be there during the good and and bad. I am very trust worthy and dependable.
